About Me

I started my journey in film, in the Kildare Young Filmmakers amateur group based in Lexlip. We met weekly and worked intensively during the holidays.

Here, I learned how to work collaboratively with camera, sound, and editing software. I entered my own film 'Library Blues' into a range of film festivals.

After completing my Leaving Certificate,  I did a level 5 in Filmmaking and Directing in CIFET, where I graduated with 6 Distinctions and I am now currently in my second year of a level 7 course in TV and Media at SETU Carlow.

My Skills

I've always had a deep interest in cinema and image making.

I developed an interest in cameras in the KYF  film group and invested in my own camera to experiment with what I could achieve from a limited set of variables.

During my studies I became familiar with both image editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrate) and video editing software (Premier Pro, Avid Media Composer).
